Stakeholders in the commemoration have come together and formed five working groups to prepare for the bicentennial. Following is a list of the working groups:
Interpretation Co-chairs: Rob Rogers (Director, Maryland Historical Society) and Gay Vietzke (Superintendent, Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine)
Capital Projects Co-chairs: Kathleen Kotarba (Executive Director, Commission for Historical & Architectural Preservation, City of Baltimore) and Eric Holcomb (City Planner, Department of Planning, Historical & Architectural Preservation Division, City of Baltimore)
Events Chair: Ann Beegle (Director, Star-Spangled Banner Flag House)
Marketing/Communications Chair: Sam Rogers (Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Visit Baltimore)
Education Co-chairs: Abbi Wicklein-Bayne (Director,Greater Baltimore History Alliance and Assistant Director, Mount Clare House Museum) Naomi Coquillon (Associate Director for School Programs, Maryland Historical Society)
