GO GREEN FEEDBACK FORM

In August 2007, Mayor Dixon introduced GO GREEN CLEANING as a pilot program in City Hall. This means The Department of Public Works (DPW) now uses environmentally friendly cleaning agents that are safer and healthier for the maintenance workers, building occupants, as well as for our planet.

The Bureau of General Services maintains public buildings as well as the City’s fleet of vehicles and motorized equipment. The Bureau provides maintenance, construction and repair service for more than 200 City-owned public buildings including those operated by the Fire Department, Recreation and Parks and the Enoch Pratt Free Library. The Bureau maintains a fleet of more than 5,400 pieces of motorized equipment including Police and Fire Department vehicles and apparatus. Fleet services are provided at:
